Basket Ball

George E. Carter Spring League

Girls and boys basketball leagues. As well as basketball instruction for 1st - 12th graders.


Gardening & Nutrition Program

Teaching gardening, farming and horticulture, using hands on lessons right in the Boys and Girls Club back yard garden.

Teaching youth to eat healthy and live healthy lives through hands on cooking lessons.

Join Us Every Wednesday for cake baking, pies, smoothies, omelets, funnel cake making and more.



Face Forward 2

The BGCC FF2 Program is designed to open the doors of oppurtunity for court-involved youth ages 14-24 to map out their future and begin to achieve their dreams. This program has eight core components that include: case management, mentoring, educational interventions, service-learning, occupational training in demand industries which lead to industry-recognized credentials, workforce activities that lead to industry-recognized credentials, workforce activities that lead to employment follow-up services, and expungement and diversion services. College Dual Enrollment

Robotics & Scuba Diving Program

Youth work together to learn the basics of scuba diving and underwater exploration; building underwater robotic devices to compete against other robotic teams in the tri-state area. Youth participate in competitions at Drexel & Villanova Universities.


Recreation and Instructional Activities

We provide a safe space for children to learn and interactwith one another by playing games. Using our game tables: billiards, air hockey, foosball, and ping pong. We also provide activities such as tennis, lacrosse, soccer, cheerleading, dance, weightlifting and engineering.

Club Technology


Teaching through technology, and providing computer and digital photography instruction for middle and high school students every Saturday at 11am.

Power Hour

Power Hour

After school homework help and tutoring to ensure academic enrichment for all students from 4-5pm every day. Implementation of learning through STEM activities.

Art of Growing Up

Mural Arts Program

Using art and expression to assist in the growing up process. Mentor youth about cultural awareness and awareness of self by using art and poetry.

Staying in school and graduating; Finding solutions to problems; Improving behaviors; Drug-free and crime-free behavior; promoting responsibility and trust; providing quality mentors through sports and career exploration.
